Happy New Month! This month will grant unto you all the good in it in Jesus name!

Ecclesiastes 9:10
Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom.

Lately in church, pastor has been teaching us on fruitfulness and on Sunday, I learnt that you cannot even be talking about being fruitful if you don’t have a seed in the first place.

One of the major areas where God has called us to be fruitful is our marriage. But just like you need a seed to germinate to produce a fruit, what is in your hand is a big determinant of your fruitfulness.

What is available to you at the moment? Is it time, bread, a smile, a kind word, an ability to intercede, a song, a vocational skill, a word of wisdom, money, etc?

How best are you willing to make those things multiply? What if it is that your ability to encourage people and genuinely put a smile on their faces that your spouse is going to be needing?

Realize that this single phase of your life will be over one day. Another phase will come in. Make this phase count.

Be a better version of yourself today than you were yesterday.

No marriages in heaven. You either enjoy your marriage or you enjoy it o! At least that’s what I plan to do. But that cannot be possible if one is a liability.

Read books, try new godly stuffs, meet new people, learn new skills, (there is nothing wrong with a guy knowing how to cook, neither is it a crime for a woman to learn how to drive a trailer…lol), make yourself available for kingdom service, love God like crazy, engage in spiritual exercises, be emotionally intelligent, learn how to tolerate people, be open to new ideas while still maintaining your godly standards, be financially smart, learn the principles of honour, fire up your prayer life (relationship is not jamboree) and so much more.

Phillipians 4:13 (AMP)
I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].

Singleness is so much fun only if you plant your seed well. And you know what? That seed can eventually become a tree. Selah!
