Dear Pastor, Is This Wrong?

Dear Pastor, Is This Wrong?

Can this be wrong?

Bola is a 28 year old lady, judiciously serving God in her church. She is a born again christian and fervent in the spirit.

She is dating Yomi, who also worships in the same church. They have been going out for four years now, until recently he was demanding for certain things and she wanted to clarify it with her pastor.

This conversation ensued between them.

Bola: Good morning Pastor.

Pastor: Morning Bola. How are you?

Bola: Fine sir, please I want to clarify clarify things sir.

Pastor: Go on.

Bola: Pastor, I don’t know how to say it ooo

Pastor: Just say it. What have I not heard of before? (laughing)

Bola: Pastor, one of my friends told me that so far you have not done that main thing, you have not sinned against God.

Pastor: Hmmmm.

Bola: That you are allowed to touch, kiss, romance, caress, and do all other stuff. God will not be annoyed with you.The most important thing is that you didn’t have Jeru trip.

Pastor: Well, I would say that your friend needs to go back to read his bible, or is he trying to turn the Bible up side down?I hope it’s not that your friend?

Bola: Haa Pastor. No ooo. I’m just asking for someone ooo

Pastor: Okay. First of all. You don’t need to have Jeru trip before sinning against God. Remember Bible says, anyone that lusts after a woman with his eyes or heart, has already committed adultery.

So you see, you don’t even have to touch. Looking alone can make you fall into sin.

Bola: Hmmmm…True sir

Pastor: So, if you want to touch, kiss, caress, smooch and the likes, ask yourself;

Is that person your wife or husband yet?

Do you have permission over that body?

Has God given you the right over that body?

If No, then it is a sin.

How can you be touching a body that is not yet your own?

See what the bible says in

1Co 6:18 KJV Flee fornication. very sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

The Bible also says in

1st Thessalonians 5:22
Flee from all appearances of evil.

Things that look like sin.
That would make you pollute yourself. That would make you feel dirty inwards, abstain from their likes.

Look at Joseph, he had to take to his heels and run.
He could have decided to touch, and smooch portiphar’s wife too.
So far he wasn’t having Jeru trip. But that is a sin against God.

It would stain him, soil his clothes and make his spirit man dirty. It’s a sin against your own flesh.

Somebody else’s wife.Somebody you are not yet married to.

It shouldn’t be heard of you.It is a lustful desire to satisfy the flesh, which would ruin your destiny.

Bola: Pastor, my eyes are opened o…oh my God.

Pastor: As born again christians, we live our lives according to the Bible, which tells us not to get involved in all these things or to satisfy our flesh and lustful desires, it doesn’t get us anywhere.

The flesh, would always want it, but we have to fight against it with our spirit man.

John 6: 63KJV It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, [they] are spirit, and [they] are life.

The flesh, profiteth nothing!Absolutely nothing! So be warned.

My advice to this your friend is this: The devil has a way of enticing you with sweet things, you think it’s sweet, you are enjoying, nobody is seeing you, but you don’t know what lies ahead of you.

Your destiny is gradually fading away.

Pro 20:17 KJV says

Bread of deceit [is] sweet to a man; but afterwards his mouth shall be filled with gravel.

The end, is always in pain, shambles and destruction just like gravel.

Bola: Haa, I dont want my destiny to fade away ooo (puts her hand on her head)

Pastor: I thought you said it wasn’t you.

Bola: Erm, Erm Pastor. I will tell that my friend.

Thank you very much sir. God continue to bless you. You have helped that my friend a lot.
Bye bye sir.

Pastor: Laughs. Hmmmm. Bola, greet your friend for me ooo
