Dear Pastors, Keep Talking Regardless of How Busy You Might Be

One of the ways the devil brings confusion to Pastors and Ministers’ marriage is when communication is allowed to die.

I usually tell couples, regardless of what disagreement you might have, keep talking.

It is when communication dies that assumptions begins.

And well, assumption as we all know, is the lowest form of knowledge.

So, you keep talking.

Suggestions, lies, and insinuations are fed into the mind about your spouse when you stop talking.

Yes, there will be disagreement, but can you disagree without strife?

Can you disagree to agree without quarrels, hurts and bitterness?

These are a major distraction to the Pastor and the work he is doing.

The effectiveness of a Pastor is predicated on a clean heart.

A heart devoid of hurts and bitterness.

That is when the Pastor is at his best and that is when God can use him more.

You really want to ensure that you protect your heart from hurts, lies and bitterness.

Bitterness can ruin a lot of good things.

So, dear pastor and pastor’s wife, guard your heart!

Proverbs 4:23 (KJV)
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
May God bless your ministry and the work of your hands.

I am not given to bitterness, I have a clean heart. I am blessed.
