Sermon Notes – Shouts of Grace Center, 14th of April 2019

Message Taught By Rev. Dunamis Tunde Okunowo

John 6:22-66

When you have dreams from God, most likely people will not understand or believe you.

Vs 27 advises that we labour for what will endure to everlasting and not for what will perish.

Pastor Sophia Okunowo

Key Points to Note

1. There is a labor for everyone.
Everyone is laboring.

2. God is paying attention to your labor.
Deuteronomy 26:7, Hebrews 6:10

3. Laboring without God is wasted efforts.
 Psalm 127:1, Proverbs 23:4

A move of the Word and Spirit

4. Laboring without productivity shows there is a crisis that needs attention.
Proverbs 14:23, 28:19, Ecclesiastes 10:15.
God is not unrighteous to forget your labor of love.
Are you laboring for productivity?
Lamentations 5:5

5. God is saying labour in what will endure and He will give you the other things.
Don’t scatter your attention.
Joshua 24:13, Deuteronomy 6:10-12, John 4:38

6. What exactly is the labour that endures?
John 6:27, 55-56.
Eating of the flesh and blood is an equivalent of him being in you and you being in him.
It means fellowship with God. It has to be constant fellowship with God.
The meat that endures is fellowship.
Heb 4:11- do the foundational labor first.

Your parents have labored for you, but at a point, you are expected to take over the labor yourself.
When you see certain trends in your family, you better start labouring early, because you will eventually labor.
Matt 11:28-30
