I Fainted After I Was Bled!

That was the story of my life, the week before the last
There was a need to donate blood, and I found myself as one of the candidates… Hehehe.

By some minutes to 12am I was in the hospital. Some hours later I was being checked to see if I was ‘qualified’ to donate blood; the results came out, and I was! My PCV (Packed Cell Volume) was 44%; an evidence of my good feeding habit… winks. I was therefore ‘okayed’ to proceed with the bleeding (blood donation).

Some minutes later, I was lying on the couch and my blood was being drawn. After what seemed like ages, I surrendered a pint of my blood.
After some minutes of rest, I was cleared to leave, and then…

While still at the door, the world started spinning… I was losing balance… I was getting dizzy… next thing, I was hearing voices calling me from another world, and then I felt water splashing on me!
Stories had it that I jerked a bit, and then was slipping into unconsciousness… that was when they started calling my name and pouring me water.

“You are the first of such case I’ve experienced since I started bleeding people,” was the lab scientist’s remark.

What could have been the cause of my fainting? My PCV was high! Mum, a retired nurse, gave a satisfying answer:

“Though your PCV was high, your blood volume wasn’t high enough. So when they drew a pint, your blood volume ran low, and then you went into shock. You don’t drink plenty water!”

You see, I had enough substance (PCV) to give, but I didn’t have enough ‘water’ to drive it… therefore I fainted!

You may have checked your life, and seen some substance.

Good job… check.
Fine face… check.
Cash at hand… check.
Bae… check.
Boo… check check.
Online profile… check.
Ability to host your wedding… check.
Ability to feed your family… check.

But have you also checked your water level?
Are you sure that you won’t faint when it’s time to give of your substance?
When the circumstances of life come at you, and you need to give off some virtue, are you sure you won’t faint?

Have you checked your water level?
Is your water level enough to face adversities and the adversary without fainting?

You may have the substance to host your wedding this year, but do you have enough water to sponsor your marriage? When you marry bae and s/he comes up with that cranky attitude, do you have enough water in you to handle it? Or will you faint?

By now you may be wondering what that water is… hehehe…

“to make us holy and pure, cleansing us through the showering of the PURE WATER OF THE WORD OF GOD.”
Ephesians 5:26 TPT

The Word of God is your spiritual water!
The same way I fainted due to insufficient water intake is the same way you will faint if you have insufficient Word intake!

It is your Word level that helps you deal with issues of life without fainting!
When bae is on fire, it is your water level that will help quench the fire.
When the storms of life come at you, it is your Word level that will help anchor you so that you don’t drown.
When the job is not coming, it is your Word level that will help give you joy.

Learn to take in enough of the Word, so that you will not faint in the day of trouble.

Have you already fainted? Do you wish to be resuscitated?
It is still with the same water! Remember I was resuscitated with water!
You too can be resuscitated, with the water of the Word.
The solution to your fainting is not a pity-party; it is to start taking the water you’ve neglected for long!

The Word is your life.
Make a commitment to Him today.

“The Holy Spirit is the one who gives life, that which is of the natural realm is of no help. The words I speak to you are Spirit and life. But there are still some of you who won’t believe.”
John 6:63 TPT

Please, believe!
