Living Out Your Marital Dream

Our definition of living the dream varies.
To some, it is a good marriage. To others, a nice house. To another, plenty of money yet to another, a healthy life with beautiful children.

Our belief most times is that we will “arrive” with hard work and a successful job.

For a good marriage to work, our formula will include: attending relationship seminars, reading books on marriage and relationship, and so on. You might have tried that all year round, so you feel you can now solve whatever relationship issue brought to you, yet, you are not in any relationship.

Pressures from family and friends’ have become unbearable, so much that you result to living for the gram.
Now you have started suspecting your village people and all the old women in your neighborhood.

Its already mid of the year and your “Nigerian-American Dream” is still a dream.

Brother is loosing hope now that he has proposed to the sixth sister this year.

Sister’s frustration is on a rage as she hopes and prays that this Bro that has been flagging will pop the ring this weekend.

Something is telling you to double your hustle; maybe plan to sleep over at his place a couple of times, maybe, just maybe it will secure the bag.

Psa 46: 10 (AMP) Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

You need to understand that God has you covered.
The scriptures says be STILL.

All this dilly dallying you are doing won’t get you anywhere.
God’s words are true. He is not a man that should lie and trust me, He doesn’t change his mind either.

Num23: 19b (NKJV) Has He said, and will He not do?
Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

Maybe you have heard this and it’s already a cliché, listen to this;

God is too good to be unkind,
He is too wise to be confused.
When I cannot trace His hand,
I can always  trust His heart.

God is the giver of every good and perfect gift,
The fulfiller of every dream He gives.
Your marital dream ain’t too big for God to handle.
Don’t pity Him.
