So, The Valentine’s Week Is Here

Yes, Valentine period is here.

I will not bore you with the history.

It’s supposed to be a celebration of love.

But it has always been a celebration of love and lust at the end of the day.

And this is why you need to be extremely careful.

Lust will be in the air.

Very strongly.

It will come like a wind, seeking to sweep away many.

But then you can decide whether you want to stand firm or be swept away.

Emotions would be vulnerable. Jeru trip will be a common place.

Virgins will throw caution to the wind. Many have been waiting for that day, to willingly be desecrated by ever waiting scavengers.

Abortions will be on all time high in ensuing weeks after the Valentine.

Mass murder in disguise.

Hearts will be broken, but even much more, destinies will be broken while trying to prevent hearts from being broken.

Alcohol will flow. Swimming pool side parties will sweep several away.

Sexually transmitted diseases will have patronage. Adrenalin will subdue common sense.

But as a child of God, you cannot be subject to these vicissitudes.

I have just one scripture to share with you.

2 Corinthians 2:11 (KJV)
Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

Don’t let the Valentine period become an “advantage” for the devil in your life.

That advantage means a leverage or an opening.

Valentine will come and go, but then don’t let your relationship with God go with the season.

Stay strong. Don’t give the devil a foothold or an opening.

This is not the time to start connecting with your ex.

This is not time to start regretting the sinful relationship you were entangled in and have ended.

This is not the time to be comparing yourself to that other person.

This is the time to trust God like ever before.

This is the time to believe God for the best.

This is the time to say NO to every compromise and to allow God to do what only He can do.

I am going to stop here this morning.

I am praying for you, you will not be distracted.

You will not be disconcerted.

God will establish you in Him.

God will honour you and make you laugh in your relationship!

So shall it be.

May God bless your relationship.
