Timeless Lessons From Divine Marriage Master-class

Timeless Lessons From Divine Marriage Master-class

Master-classes these days seems to be the preferred in various climes, when the need to get a good quick fix arises; people easily get their way out of challenging situations by attending. These master-classes are designed to provide relevant proven ideas/skills that can be employed and deployed to get better results in any field of choice. You might have even patronized one that interests you in recent times.

Relatively, operating the right relational (marriage) ideas/skills is required to understand and manage situations that arise in marriage.

Failure to acquire these skills will always make one to get undesirable results in marriage, like constant arguments and hurts in marriage, abuse of different kinds etc.

Having the right set of skills in marriage can be a product of personal reading, going through a class/mentoring/coaching/counseling sessions or it can also be a product of experience.

Maintaining the status-quo on acquisition of relevant marriage skills/ideas will only expose one’s marriage to emerging problems e.g. (issues surrounding social media use and marriage) hence the need to subscribe over and over again to lessons from this master–class I am about to reveal.

Ideally, a master-class is organized by an individual/group with proven track record of efficiency in a specified skill(s), most times for a fee. But this morning our master class expert has once again opened our eyes to glean from his wealth of timeless wisdom.

Isaiah 55;1- 3 (MSG) Hey there! All who are thirsty come to the water! Are you penniless? Come anyway— buy and eat! Come, buy your drinks, buy wine and milk. Buy without money—everything’s free! Why do you spend your money on junk food, your hard-earned cash on cotton candy? Listen to me, listen well: Eat only the best, fill yourself with only the finest. Pay attention, come close now, listen carefully to my life-giving, life-nourishing words.

God is saying you can and should come buy from him this morning. He is the originator of marriage and his approach is still the best specially designed to suit your marriage with perfect results guaranteed.

Let’s jointly look at some of the ideas/skills he wants us to acquire for us to be on top of our marriage issues.

1. Be loving to your spouse always

Colossians 3;14 (GW) above all, be loving. This ties everything together perfectly.

This scriptural idea entails showing a lot of love towards each other, providing and showing strong affection and a strong attraction to each other, showing that you like each other.

Imagine your wife in the first or second trimester of pregnancy and she is asking for fried unripe plantain.

This biblical idea is saying you should show her that you love her and get it done. This idea should be worked at always as you will be faced with situations that will make you to so not want to love your spouse or show that you like them, but we must choose to be loving to our spouses even when we do not feel like it.

2. Endeavor to Hate Evil and everything that looks like it.

Romans 12: 9 (GW) Love sincerely. Hate evil. Hold on to what is good.

I will write out some of the things that can be classified as evil that we must not be found doing. In fact, we are expected to hate such.

Shouting on your spouse, using strong and demeaning words on your spouse, leaving them to do chores without providing assistance and so on.

3. Endeavor to show devotion to your spouse at all times.

Romans 12: 9 (GW) be devoted to each other like a loving family. Excel in showing respect for each other.

Being devoted to each other entails been committed to each other, ensuring your allegiance is pledged to each other, being dedicated and loyal to each other and above all, showing respect and honour to each other.

One of these days, as the inspiration comes, we shall jointly consider the topic of honoring each other in marriage.

Our marriages will work and be beautiful in Jesus name!

I operate with divine wisdom in my marriage.

In the name of Jesus, my marriage will work.

Practicing the principles that makes marriage work is constant.
