When You Have Prayed And Prayed And Yet There is Defeat

When You Have Prayed And Prayed And Yet There is Defeat

In some marriages and homes, there is constant defeat and it is as though prayers are not answered.

It is as though Christianity is just a joke and the Bible a fiction.
Nothing seems to be working.

You claim to be serving God, but those who openly patronize fetish means seem to be having upper hand.

You have fasted and prayed, and yet there seem to be no movement.
Promotion is not forthcoming

You are so unhappy, al your expectations are disappointed.

Everything seem to have stopped.

You pay your tithe and give and yet…

What could be wrong?

That is what I want to show you this morning, dear husband and wife.
The marriage is a strong covenant instituted not by society, tradition or government but by God Himself.

That should make you sit up, right?

This is what the scripture is alluding to here:
Malachi 2:14 (MSG)
Do you know why? Simple. Because GOD was there as a witness when you spoke your marriage vows to your young bride, and now you’ve broken those vows, broken the faith-bond with your vowed companion, your covenant wife.

Listen to me, dear couple, the moment you disobey God’s injunctions in marriage, you are going to open the door wide to the devil, and things will happen as though you are not anointed.

There are many things you can do to break this wows, but at root of it all are these:

Husbands, love your wives!

Wives, obey your husbands.

Every time you violate this, you will invite afflictions.

When the devil wants to render a husband useless and unproductive, he will deceive hm into unloving his wife.

When the devil wants to plunder a wife and hinder her prayers, she will be stubborn to her husband, she will disobey him at every opportunity.

So, this brings the couple in direct opposition to God’s word, and of course, nothing will work.

You can choose to be stubborn, recalcitrant and then lose the marriage, or be smart to follow God’s word and save your home, your children and have peace as well.

In flouting God’s instructions above, a lot have ended in adultery, because you become vulnerable when you are not focusing on your spouse as God instructed and your mind is busy dancing around wishing somebody else is your spouse.

This opens you up in the realm of the spirit, sicknesses, attacks, dangerous thoughts will be the lot.

The light shines and darkness will not comprehend it.

But a lot of couple have snuffed out the light in their marriages, so they cannot even see clearly, they are busy suspecting each other.

They believing all the lies the devil is suggesting into their minds, and they are unable to get out because the very help that God places around them is now a perceived enemy!

What a grand plan of hell to scatter homes, marriages, ministries and destinies.

Where does this leave you? Go back to honoring your spouse, even when you feel he or she is not doing the same. You are wrong most times, because your mind is already compromised.

And when you feed on all these lies too much it can affect your mental health and you become paranoid if you are not careful.

This is because you are meditating on lies of the devil and the only thing hell has to offer is death. Nothing more.

Be pleasant. Communicate and stop thinking evil thoughts at one another.

Go back to obeying, loving, and honouring one another.

I pray that God will send help into your home and marriages in Jesus name.
