Some of the stories that intrigues me the most in the Bible are the ones that took place in circumstances involving water. From the division at the Red Sea to Elijah and Elisha’s trip, the Measuring Rod and then Peter walking on water.

Such mind blowing experiences. One of the numerous questions I’d ask when I eventually met these guys would be, how they felt when all this took place.

Now, whether the sea was divide or was walked upon, both were amazing miracles with distinctive feature according to the plans and purpose of Jehovah Efizze. We can’t compare or say one was more amazing than the other, but what we can do, is to point out the circumstances surrounding the encounters.

Beyond what we can ask or think, is an exceeding doing power of God, and the Bible says that this power works in us. This would mean that we do not have power of our own, and that’s God’s qualification for the people he deals with.

Peter’s walk on water was as a result of total dependency and focus on Jesus. This is true because the moment his attention was shifted, he began to sink.

The people of Israel, were some worth hopeless without God in the picture, they had come to a dead end with a flood of assassins right behind them. In the mist of their lack of defense, God showed up.

Trusting God in all situations is our lead to the extraordinary, and this applies to all areas of our lives. Walking on water didn’t take a special trick on Peter’s part neither did it take strong men to pull apart the see for the Israelite, it took faith in God and realizing our weakness.

Admitting that we need God to help our weakness is the first step and when this admission is made, we believe God for strength, then the absolute belief and trust in God kicks in and the power of God is then allowed to manifest and trust me sister, we don’t call him Jehovah effize for nothing!

You might have been having no success in a relationship and you gave it all you got; made the calls, sent the texts messages, bought the gifts from your savings and still nothing.

You have to accept that you need Gods help and then trust him and he will bring that person with very little effort from your part your way.

Proverbs 3:6 (KJV)
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

The story of Ruth comes into mind. She had married severally already and had given up hope, but trust in God gave her the wealthiest man in the land and made her the grandmother to the greatest king in Israel!

John 14:1 (KJV)
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

God does not operate with logic. When it came to answering his children in the bible, He never did a small miracle because at every time he moved, there was absolute belief in Him without logic or taking into consideration the circumstances. All that matters for Him to move is for you to absolutely trust Him.

Matthew 17:20 (KJV)
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

We often stand as obstacles for God to do what He wants by exalting our circumstances and magnifying or challenges. The more we do this, the less the power of God manifests.

Just a little faith and trust in God sister and He will part whatever seems to be the red sea in your life. If you lose focus on Jesus, you won’t walk on water like He did. If He could stop the sun in the sky for the children of Israel to finish a battle, what is that job, promotion or business deal he cannot get you?

The Lord is my strength in my weakness.

Help me to see that trusting you is my best option.

I focus on Jesus alone.

The situation is irrelevant, I trust GOD absolutely.

Matthew 17:20
